Magical Ice Skating

No general admission ticket is required with all paying ice skaters.

Take to the ice at Newcastle only outdoors undercover real ice rink.

Whether you're a first timer finding your balance or a confident skater showing off your moves at Newcastle winter wonderland, our real ice, ice rink is back and is undercover to create a magical all-weather experience. Laughter fills the air as skaters of all ages enjoy the thrill of the ice.

Skate hire is included, and we offer friendly penguin skate aids to help younger guests and beginners feel confident. Whether you're twirling with friends, holding hands with loved ones, or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere, this is the place to embrace the season.

Please note: Arrive at your start time to collect your skates and boot up. Your skating begins 15 minutes later.

Terms & Conditions

All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

Tickets are transferable - you're welcome to give them to family or friends.

On the day of your visit, please bring your ticket to the Ice Rink Box Office, located next to the ice rink.

Age Guidelines

Children under 8 must be accompanied on the ice at all times by someone aged 16 or over.

Children under 12 must have a parent or guardian aged 18 or over present inside the skate centre during their session.
